  • I am writing to request your involvement with our National Families & Fathers 17th Annual Conference, February 16-19 in Los Angeles. We are planning our conference that I am humbled and honored that we have hosted attendees from 90 nations and 500 U.S. cities, towns, rural communities and tribal nations… Our focus is on children and the vision to improve outcome for children through healthier parenting and building healthier communities (learn more at http://www.fathersandfamiliescoalition.org)

I will be in the Inland Empire on August 15th visiting that region where I lived as a teen. I hope we can connect prior yo the 15th.

We rely on the talents of over 150 volunteers; hundreds of talented faculty and a breadth of expertise from national partnerships to help us get the word out and participate. This year will have new partners and support from partners to give a national and extensiveness backing to help us address trauma informed care, health disparities, child support, Head Start and more…..

We will address the importance of developing evidence based with culturally appropriate methods to support needs to strengthen families, outcomes for children and diverse groups of fathers and mothers. We use this platform to expand capacity of practitioners, organizations, researchers and more. Our aspirations include meaningful skill building sessions to foster best practices to serve communities with extreme poverty; overabundant neighborhoods of high violence; high rates of single-father only homes; excessive rates of undereducated; and other realities of our targeted population living in stressful environments. Building programs to sustain healthy relationships will ultimately create healthy communities as our end goal that goes well beyond our national and Caribbean conference.

We have been successful to provide support to tens of thousands without corporate and foundation giving and now we seek to expand our capacity with new insightful partnerships and support. I believe now is the optimal season to inquire involvement as follows:

Perhaps team members could be made available for guidance to expand the capacity of into our national conference that will be in Los Angeles?e

Examination of the conference content to disseminate Call for Workshops to existing your stakeholders who may want to participate in planning, presentations, exhibiting and other facets of this event; and
The possibility of on-going involvement as we will anchor this conference in Los Angeles the next four years as well as planned summer events in Puerto Rico and how can collaborate when possible.
