Rape Trauma Training

Intended Audience: DBH and Community Partners,
Please join us on Monday, October 7 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Rape Trauma training, a presentation facilitated by Cassandra Black from San Bernardino Sexual Assault Services.
Upon completion of this training session, attendees should be able to:
- Reduce the client’s initial negative emotional and behavioral responses following sexual abuse.
- Utilize effective strategies for the supportive care of clients victimized by sexual violence.
- Apply appropriate competencies that are sensitive to the nature of the sexual abuse and integration of external services.
Note: All participants attending this training must be in accordance with DBH Dress Code Policy. Participants must sign in and sign out on the attendance sheet to receive course credit and/or continuing education (CE) credit. Additionally, participants must attend the entire class session, no partial credit will be awarded. Ce Credit is only awarded for actual attendance time. Course Completion Certificates will be available via Relias in 10 business days. Breaks and lunches are not eligible for CE credit.
