Addressing – Subdivision Permit Once a subdivision records, each lot requires an address prior to construction.  This record allows a sub-divider to request an address assignment for each lot within the subdivision. Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Certificate Condition Verify that the smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms required by the California Residential Code (CRC)have been installed in the dwelling, in compliance with the CRC and with the manufacturer's instructions and further that they have been tested and do function properly. Roof Certification Condition A letter from a licensed structural (or truss) engineer shall be submitted with an original wet stamp at time of fire sprinkler plan review, verifying the roof is capable of accepting the point loads imposed on the building by the fire sprinkler system design.
