Appointments open online at 9 a.m. Monday for Auto Club Speedway vaccination event
Appointments for the Auto Club Speedway “super site” COVID-19 vaccination event will be available beginning at 9 a.m. Monday at sbcovid19.com/vaccine.
San Bernardino County is conducting the COVID-19 vaccination event in partnership with the Auto Club Speedway, 9300 Cherry Avenue in Fontana, on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
Those eligible for vaccines at this event include people age 65 and older who live and work in the county. Front-line healthcare workers and emergency services professionals who live or work in the county are also eligible.
Vaccines remain in short supply and vaccinations will be limited to the first 3,500 individuals who secure an appointment. Booking appointments through sbcovid19.com/vaccine will provide the best chance for securing a spot. Those who are not able to make an appointment online are encouraged to seek assistance from someone who can help them. People who are computer-literate are encouraged to offer assistance to their senior relatives and friends. People who need assistance making an appointment may contact our COVID-19 hotline at 9 a.m. on Monday at (909) 387-3911.
Residents receiving an initial dose at Tuesday’s Auto Club Speedway event will be able to immediately schedule an appointment to receive their second dose at a follow-up speedway event on March 2.
Those who secure a Tuesday appointment should expect to be onsite for approximately one hour, and are being asked to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. While the actual vaccination process only takes a minute or so, recipients will then be monitored by medical staff for 15 minutes to ensure they don’t experience a negative reaction. (Most patients’ reactions are comparable to those received following a flu shot.)
Event attendees will be required to wear a mask and to maintain social distancing. They also will be asked to remain in their respective vehicles until otherwise instructed by a medical professional.
County residents are encouraged to visit the county’s vaccination web pages often for updated information on vaccine availability and dispensing locations.

Nothing open on Monday!!!! Just refences the 29th of January. This is getting ridiculous. Some sites you have to fill out so much info first just to find out there is nothing open. But at least a couple sites let you know that upfront w/o filling out so much info first and taking photos of your medical cards just to kick you out!!!
Hi Ramona, we know the state’s online appointment system is extremely frustrating which is why we opened a hotline to assist people from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday to help people navigate the computer.
