Crisis Intervention Team
The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Program is a community partnership that provides mental health education and training for first responders and community partners within the context of safety and empathy to ensure a seamless link between a mental illness-related crisis event in the community, law enforcement, first responders, the Department of Behavioral Health and eventual community treatment.
This is not a crisis response program. For crisis services, call (888) 743-1478. For emergency services, call 9-1-1.
