Juvenile Justice Community Reintegration

Minors who have been identified with behavioral health issues who are detained in a San Bernardino County JDAC and will be returning to the community are referred for reintegration services through the Juvenile Justice Community Reintegration (JJCR) program. While the minor is still detained, the family and minor are consulted regarding the minor’s history, strengths and needs as well as the family’s special circumstances. Aftercare programs are sought to support the minor’s smooth transition into the community. Individual case planning, home visits and referrals are essential components of the program and include academics, vocational skills, job related skills, legal resources and information.
