Funded by a 1% tax on personal income over $1 million, MHSA helped expand services for people with serious mental health needs and supported prevention, early intervention, and system improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2024, voters approved the&nbsp;<strong>Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA), which replaces MHSA<\/strong>. The people who build behavioral health programs need to understand what life looks like for you \u2014 what\u2019s working, what\u2019s not, and what could help make it better. Data can show numbers, but only you can show what those numbers mean.
