Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program

Lead Service Line Replacement

Service lines feed water from a water main to your home. Unfortunately, some service lines have parts that are made of lead. The California State Water Board, Division of Drinking Water is working with water utility companies to identify and replace parts of the lines that have lead and are owned by the utility companies.
