SUMMARY:Inland Empire Directing Change Awards Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral and Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health is proud to announce our partnership in honoring local students who participated in the statewide Directing Change Student Film Contest by hosting an Inland Empire Screening and Award Ceremony. The ceremony will honor students who produced 60-second videos on the topic of suicide prevention and ending the silence of mental illness. \nDirecting Change is part of statewide efforts to prevent suicide\, reduce stigma and discrimination related to mental illness\, and promote the mental health and wellness of students. These initiatives are funded by California’s Mental Health Services Act (Proposition 63)\, which was passed by voters in 2004. Our participation in Directing Change helps achieve the countywide vision by contributing to the wellness of our communities and helping to ensure the success of children from cradle to career. \nWe hope that you will join us to recognize the accomplishments.
