Qualified nonprofit organizations (tax-exempt nonprofit corporations and foundations which provide social services to San Bernardino County residents) may acquire surplus items at no cost to the organization. Examples of some of the surplus items that can be acquired include desks, bookcases, file cabinets, computers, printers, and tables.<\/p>\n<p>In order to qualify, organizations must demonstrate services are provided to San Bernardino County residents at a facility within San Bernardino County and maintain a tax exempt status through the IRS and the State of California. Nonprofit organizations interested in participating in the HS CBO Program for the current program year (July 1 through June 30), must submit the following documentation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.sbcounty.gov\/hs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2024\/07\/CBO-Application-Fillable-PDF.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBO Program Application<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Copy of IRS tax exempt letter<\/li>\n<li>Copy of State Franchise Tax Board exempt letter<\/li>\n<li>Copy of Articles of Incorporation<\/li>\n<li>Brochure, pamphlet, or documentation of the services provided to San Bernardino County residents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A new application is required each\u00a0program year and accepted on a first come, first served basis.
