LOCATION: 20700 block of Aster Road, in Adelanto

SUSPECT: Pasqual Palomares, 47 years-old, resident of Los Angeles

On Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10:26pm, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station received a request from Los Angeles Police Department to assist with the apprehension of an armed and dangerous homicide suspect. The suspect committed a fatal shooting in Los Angeles and they believed had fled to the High Desert in a stolen vehicle. Through the investigation conducted by law enforcement officials in Los Angeles, it was believed the suspect was possibly in Adelanto.

Deputies Malcolm Page and Lauren Abernathy located the stolen vehicle outside a residence in the 20700 block of Aster Road in Adelanto. With the house surrounded, deputies made PA announcements until the suspect, Pasqual Palomares, exited the residence. Palomares was taken into custody without incident. The residence belonged to relatives of Palomares and no one was injured inside. A gun was located inside, believed to have been used in the homicide.
