INCIDENT:                Murder/Suicide Investigation

LOCATION:              19600 block of Tonkawan Road, Apple Valley

VICTIM:                     Mary Donley, age 49 a resident of Apple Valley

SUSPECT:                Brian O’Connell, age 48 a resident of Apple Valley

SUMMARY:

On Sunday, June 3, 2018, at approximately 10:41 pm, deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department and emergency medical personnel responded to a residence in the 19600 block of Tonkawan Road in Apple Valley following the report of a shooting.  Upon arrival, a male and female adult were found inside the residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  The female, Mary Donley, was transported to a local area hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.  The male, Brian O’Connell, was pronounced deceased at the location.

Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators responded to the location and are conducting the investigation. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.  Investigators are not looking for any outstanding suspects.
