INCIDENT: PC 496(D)- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
PC 496a – Possession of Stolen Property
SUSPECT: Shain Kerr, 38 years old, of Apple Valley
On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, deputies from the Sheriff’s Rural Crime Task Force conducted an investigation leading to the recovery of a stolen skid steer loader.
Deputies Stanley and Oakleaf conducted a search of a residence at the 14000 block of Laguna Seca Drive in Apple Valley for a wanted subject. While conducting the search, deputies located a stolen Ingorsol Rand skid steer. The skid steer had been stolen approximately two weeks prior in a residential burglary several miles away and was returned to the owner. Also recovered at the location was a stolen firearm.
Shain Kerr was contacted at the location. Kerr was arrested for PC 496(D)-Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and PC496a – Possession of Stolen Property (firearm). Kerr was booked at High Desert Detention Center and was later released on bail.
