INCIDENT: HS 11378 Possession of Narcotics for Sale 

LOCATION: 22300 block of Lark Street, Grand Terrace  

SUSPECT(S): Peter Gonzales, 44-year-old resident of Riverside 


SUMMARY: On October 3, 2018,  Deputy P. Casas, from the Sheriff’s Central Station, investigated an assault call on the 22300 block of Lark St, Grand Terrace. After Casas ended his investigation, he noticed several vehicles were illegally parked on the street, and some were not registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles.


As Casas was issuing parking citations, he noticed Peter Gonzales get out of a parked car and enter a home.  Deputies saw the female passenger in the vehicle smoking marijuana.  Deputies searched the vehicle and found a large amount of methamphetamine and heroin.  Digital scales and other paraphernalia indicative of illegal narcotics sales were also found. When Casas attempted to contact Gonzales, he ran. Gonzales was captured shortly after and taken into custody. He was found to be a parolee at large and had an active felony warrant.  Gonzales was arrested for HS 11378 Possession of Narcotics for Sales, and for his outstanding warrant. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
