INCIDENT: PC 245(a)(1) Assault with a Deadly Weapon

LOCATION: Golden Avenue and Lynwood Drive, San Bernardino

SUSPECT(S): Jesus Resendez, age 23 a resident of San Bernardino

VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY: On June 5, 2018, Deputy R. Cook, from the Sheriff’s Central Station, responded to Golden Avenue and Lynwood Drive following the report of a stabbing. The victim reported on June 4th, he was attacked by two male subjects at Gary’s Liquor on Golden Avenue and Lynwood Drive. The victim was stabbed in the back twice by a subject later identified as Jesus Resendez. Deputy Cook conducted his investigation with the assistance from Detective K. Allen.

On June 5, detectives from Central Station went to the resident of Jesus Resendez in the 3300 block of Del Rey Avenue. Detectives contacted Resednez at the residence and took him into custody without incident. Detectives served a search warrant at the home. Resedenz was arrested for PC 245(a)(1) Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was booked into the Central Detention Center.
