INCIDENT: Assault with a Deadly Weapon / Willful cruelty to a Child
LOCATION: 3500 block of Osbun Road, San Bernardino
SUSPECTS: Richard Torres, 36 year-old resident of San Bernardino
Tommy James Gonzales 33 year-old resident of San Bernardino
On February 17, 2019, at approximately 8:17 pm, deputies from the Sheriff’s Central Station responded to the 3500 block of Osbun Road in San Bernardino reference an assault with a deadly weapon call. During the investigation, deputies learned Richard Torres, pointed a loaded firearm at an adult at the location in a threatening manner. Deputies executed a search warrant at the residence and located two loaded and unsecured firearms, a large amount of narcotics, and evidence of narcotic sales. The firearms and narcotics were easily accessible to multiple children living in the residence.
Richard Torres was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and was booked at Central Detention Center where is being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
Tommy Gonzales was arrest for willful cruelty to a child and was booked at Central Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
