INCIDENT:          Fatal Traffic Collision

LOCATION:        Oak Creek Road & Oakcrest Drive, Chino Hills

DRIVER:              Edward Johnson, age 62, resident of Chino Hills

SUMMARY:        On Sunday, August 30, 2020, at 4:30 P.M., Chino Hills Deputies responded to an unknown injury traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies found a nearby resident attempting to revive the rider. Deputies continued life saving measures until the fire department arrived. Despite live saving measures, Edward Johnson was pronounced deceased at the scene. The initial investigation revealed Johnson traveled south on Oak Crest Drive and, for reasons still under investigation, collided with a parked vehicle.
