Location: 4785 Chino Hills Parkway, Ayres Hotel, Chino Hills
Suspects: Danny Spangler III, 33 years old, a resident of San Dimas
Christopher Golz, 34 years old, a resident of Pomona
Paul Nix, 38 years old, a resident of Claremont
SUMMARY

On Saturday, October 24, 2020, at approximately 3:30 P.M., Chino Hills deputies investigated a vehicle theft at the Ayres Hotel in Chino Hills. Danny Spangler was contacted and found to have two outstanding warrants for drug possession. Spangler was also staying in a hotel room with Christopher Golz and Paul Nix. Deputies contacted Golz and Nix in the hotel room and saw drug paraphernalia and drugs in plain view. A search warrant led to the recovery of heroin, methamphetamine, steroids, fentanyl, hypodermic needles, and instruments used to inhale illegal narcotics.

Spangler, Golz, and Nix were arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for HS11366- Maintaining a Drug House, and for outstanding arrest warrants.
