INCIDENT:                PC 211 Robbery, PC 487(c) Theft form a Person and PC 182(a)(1) Conspiracy


LOCATION:              Yogurtland, 4505 Chino Hills Parkway, Chino Hills


SUSPECT:                Alton Thompson, 19 years old, resident of Victorville

16-year-old Chino Hills resident

17-year-old Chino Hills resident



On Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at approximately 12:45 p.m., at the 13920 City Center Drive in Chino Hills, a black male suspect took a cellular phone from the hands of a victim and fled in a Silver Chevy Cruze, license plate 8FOA547.


On Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at approximately 1:00 p.m., a suspect stole a cellular phone from the hands of a victim while he was standing outside 24 Hour Fitness at 4200 Chino Hills Parkway in Chino Hills. The suspect drove by the victim in a silver four door sedan, a suspect reached out of the passenger side window and stole the cellular. Deputies and Detectives began investigating the crimes and generated leads.


On Saturday, March 30, 2019 at approximately 4:45 p.m., a black male suspect stole a purse which was sitting on a bench next to the victim outside the Yogurtland, at 4505 Chino Hills Parkway and fled the scene in the Chevy Cruze.


On Monday, April 1, 2019 at 3:21 p.m., deputies responded to 4505 Chino Hills Parkway to investigate the theft of a purse that just occurred. The victim reported a black male stole her purse which was sitting next to her. The suspect got into the Chevy Cruze and fled the scene. Deputies conducted an area check and located the vehicle at 15421 Fairfield Ranch Road in Chino Hills. The vehicle was occupied by three black males, Alton Thompson, 19 years old, resident of Victorville, a 16-year-old Chino Hills resident and a 17-year-old Chino Hills resident. The three suspects were found to be responsible for the above crimes and were arrested. The suspects are charged with Robbery, Theft form a Person and Conspiracy.
