This 8-hours course is designed to train local law enforcement field training officers on how to cope with crisis situations with the mentally ill and developmentally disabled community. This course builds on concepts taught in the basic traffic collision investigation course. It also introduces students to expanded mathematical equations and physics topics as they relate to collisions. Skid marks are analyzed and speed is calculated using standardized equations.
