INCIDENT: Solicitation for Prostitution

LOCATION: 3500 Block of Inland Empire Blvd, Ontario Ca

SUSPECT(S): Ten male adult suspects, ranging from 28-47 years of age, residents of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

On Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at about 9:00 am, the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force conducted an in-call motel “John” operation. The operation is part of an ongoing effort through heavy presence and enforcement, to suppress Human Trafficking/prostitution throughout the valley communities of San Bernardino County, by targeting purchasers (Johns). During the operation, undercover officers were deployed at a local hotel to pose as prostitutes through on-line advertisements. As a result, the officers were contacted and solicited for acts of prostituion by multiple male suspects. Upon their arrival at the location, the suspects were taken into custody. After being invterviewed and processed, all ten suspects were transported and booked at West Valley Detention Center, for violation of PC 647(b)(2)- (Sex Buyer) Solicitation for Prostitution.

The San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force is made up of investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office, San Bernardino Police Department, Ontario Police Department, California State Parole, Office of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
