INCIDENT: PC 422 Criminal Threats

LOCATION: 7600 block of Acoma Trail Town of Yucca Valley

SUSPECT(S): Jeffrey David Cardenas, age 36 a resident of Yucca Valley

VICTIM(S): Confidential

SUMMARY: On September 30th, 2018, Deputy R. Alfaro from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 7600 block of Acoma Trail in the Town of Yucca Valley. Prior to Law enforcement response, Jeffrey David Cardenas had placed a handgun to the victims neck and threated to kill her. The victim was afraid he would pull the trigger and contacted law enforcement. When Deputies arrived at the location, they contacted the female victim and the suspect sitting inside of her vehicle. The victim sustained injuries consistent with her description of what had occurred and a handgun was located at the scene. 

Jeffrey Cardenas was arrested for criminal threats, transported and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail where he is being held on a $50,000.00 bail.
