INCIDENT: Conspiracy & Burglary

LOCATION: 2500 block of Amboy Road, Wonder Valley

INVOLVED PARTIES:
Jason Willard, 48 years old, resident of Corona
Kristy Rose, 52 years old, resident of West Covina

SUMMARY:
On Sunday, August 19th at approximately 4:55 p.m., deputies responded to the 2500 block of Amboy Road, reference a report of an in-progress residential burglary. The suspects, Jason Willard and Kristy Rose, accessed the victim’s property and entered her home. Once inside the victim’s home they began to remove items. The home owner returned and confronted them as they were placing her items into their vehicle. The victim obtained a vehicle description and license number, and an accurate description of the suspects.

The suspects attempted to flee the area in their vehicle, however the vehicle got stuck in soft sand. The suspects were unable to get their vehicle free and were apprehended by responding deputies.

Willard and Rose were arrested for violation of Penal Code 459 Burglary and Penal Code 182(a) Conspiracy to Commit a crime. Bail was set at $50,000.00 each.
