INCIDENT: PC 459, Residential Burglary- VC 10851, Vehicle Theft

SUMMARY: Between 08/19/2018 and 08/22/2018, deputies from the Colorado River/Needles Police Station received several calls for service in the Rio Buena Vista and Verde Shores Estates neighborhoods related to residential burglaries, vehicle thefts, and thefts from unlocked vehicles. During the investigation, video surveillance from cameras in the area was located and reviewed by deputies. Deputies immediately recognized the three juvenile suspects in the surveillance videos from previous law enforcement contacts.

On Thursday, 08/23/2018, deputies were able to locate all three suspects and arrest them for PC 459; burglary, and VC 10851; vehicle theft. Much of the stolen property was recovered at a home in the 300 block of W Broadway in the city of Needles. The identifiable stolen property was taken to the Colorado River Station and will be returned to the rightful owner. The three juveniles were booked at the Apple Valley Juvenile Hall, and are being held without bail.
