INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Vehicle; Evading; Possession of Burglary Tools; Probation Violation SUSPECT: Cameron Sessler, 22, of Oro Grande 

Summary

On Wednesday, January 21, 2016, Deputy John Gice and Deputy Jeff Henry from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle which had been reported stolen.

  

The driver of the vehicle slowed near Air Expressway and Jonathan Street and two female passengers exited the vehicle. The driver then fled the area in the vehicle in an attempt to evade the deputies. Deputies followed the vehicle for approximately 7 ½ miles as the driver continued to flee. The vehicle became disabled near the Mojave River Bed and the driver, Cameron Sessler, exited and began to flee on foot. With the assistance of Sheriff’s Aviation Cameron Sessler was located.    Sessler was arrested on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, evading a peace officer, possession of burglary tools and probation violation.
