On Friday, September 16, 2016, at approximately 8:35 pm the female Victim arrived home from work. The victim walked out to her back yard to shut off the water to her sprinklers and noticed the suspect standing in the shadows in the corner of the back yard. The suspect attacked the victim knocking her to the ground and continued assaulting her. The victim was able to fight off the suspect and escape to her home. The unknown Suspect fled the location in an unknown direction. Grand Terrace patrol deputies and Sheriff’s Aviation units conducted an extensive search of the area for the suspect. However, the suspect has not yet been located or identified.   Suspect information: The Suspect is believed to be a White or Hispanic Male, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. He is described having a stocky build with an unknown type tattoo on the top of his left hand. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie style sweater which covered his face, dark colored jean pants, and dark colored shoes.   Anyone with information regarding this investigation is urged to contact the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
