Incident: VC 2800.2 Felony Evading / PC 496 Possession of Stolen Property

Summary
Deputy Gile, from the Sheriff’s Central Station, observed a reported stolen vehicle in the area of Ogden and Cajon Blvd. The vehicle was described as a 2004 GMC Yukon, stolen out of the city of San Bernardino. Gile activated his overhead lights and siren, but the vehicle failed to yield and fled at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was pursued through the city streets of San Bernardino. It ultimately stopped in a residential neighborhood in the downtown area of the city. The driver was identified as Ruben Moreno. Moreno was arrested for VC 2800.2 Felony Evading, and PC 496 Possession of Stolen Property. He was booked into Central Detention Center.
