INCIDENT: PC 29800(a)(1), Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm LOCATION: Waterman Avenue and 3rd Street, San Bernardino SUSPECT(S): David Morrison, 50 year old transient of San Bernardino

Summary

On Friday, March 26, 2016, at approximately 12:48 p.m., Deputies Dominick and McDermott from the Sheriff’s Central Station were driving in the area of Waterman Avenue and 3rd Street in San Bernardino when they observed an Hispanic male adult riding his bicycle in the area. Deputies Dominick and McDermott recognized the subject from his face tattoos as David Morrison, who had an active Felony warrant for his arrest for H&S 11378 (Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales.) During the contact, deputies located a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun on Morrison. Morrison is a convicted felon and it is illegal for him to possess any firearms. Morrison was arrested for PC 29800(a)(1) (Convicted Felon in Possession of a Firearm). Morrison was booked into the Central Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
