DATE/TIME: May 8, 2016 INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of a Handgun/ Possession of Handgun with Drugs/ Possession for Sales of Rock Cocaine LOCATION: 7200 Block of Sterling Avenue SUSPECT(S): Albert Jefferson, 25 year old resident of San Bernardino
Summary
On Sunday, May 8, 2016 Deputy Gile contacted Jefferson after observing him jaywalk across a city street. During the contact, a cursory search was made on Jefferson for officer safety purposes. Jefferson was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun. Jefferson was also in possession of suspected rock cocaine, packaged for sales. Jefferson is a convicted felon with a prior strike. The gun’s origin is still under investigation. Jefferson was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center.
