DATE/TIME: February 18, 2016/ 1:37 a.m. INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of Stolen Gun and Vehicle LOCATION: Highland Ave and Del Rosa Drive, San Bernardino SUSPECT(S): Jonathan McCallum, 27-year-old resident of San Bernardino

On Thursday, February 18, 2016, at approximately 1:37 a.m., deputies from the Twin Peaks Station received a report of a male subject brandishing a weapon in the 16600 block of State Highway 330 in Running Springs. The victim called 911 reporting the father of her child, later identified as Jonathan McCallum, had pointed a gun with a laser at her. The victim feared McCallum and stated he was following her down the hill in a maroon Dodge Charger. The victim was driving westbound on Highland Avenue at Sterling Avenue in the city of San Bernardino when Deputy Antonio Alcala observed McCallum’s vehicle and conducted a high risk traffic stop. Alcala was assisted by other deputies from the Central and Highland Sheriff Stations. McCallum was detained without incident and a stolen Glock 9mm handgun with laser sights was found loaded in his waistband. The vehicle McCallum was driving and the handgun were reported stolen out of Nixa, Missouri.

McCallum has several arrests for weapons violations prior to this incident. McCallum was arrested and booked for being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Terrorist Threats, Grand Theft Auto, Possession of Stolen Property and Driving While Intoxicated.
