Crime or Incident: Failure to Yield and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

Location:Butterfield Ranch Road and Pine Avenue, Chino Hills

Suspect:Marissa Mitchell, 28 years of age, resident of Chino Hills

Summary

On Saturday, May 28, 2016, at aproximately 12:45 a.m., a deputy from the Chino Hills Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driving without the use of headlights. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield to deputies despite the use of lights and sirens.The suspect driver led deputies from Butterfield Ranch and Pine Avenue to Los Serranos Road and Los Serranos Country Club Drive before yielding.The suspect, who was identified as Marissa Mitchell a 28 year old resident of Chino Hills, was found to be under the influence of alcohol.Mitchell was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for failure to yield and driving under the influence.
