Crime or Incident: Felony Evading of Peace Officer
Location: 15000 Block of Peach Street, City of Chino Hills
Suspect: Dylan Morehouse, Rancho Cucamonga
Summary
On Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at approximately 11:38 P.M., deputies from the Chino Hills Station responded to check on an occupied vehicle, parked in front of a residence in the 15000 block of Peach Street. A deputy located the vehicle and contacted the two occupants. When the driver, later identified as Dylan Morehouse, was asked for his identification, Morehouse started the car and fled from the deputy. A second deputy began to pursue the vehicle. The pursuit travelled approximately one mile through various streets in Chino Hills, before the suspect vehicle collided with a chain-link fence. After the collision, Morehouse and a female occupant ran away on foot. Both subjects were located a short time later by deputies and taken into custody.
Morehouse was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for CVC 2800.2-Felony Evading of a Peace Officer.
