Crime or Incident: Possession of Stolen Property

Location: Peyton Drive and State 71 Freeway, Chino Hills

Suspect(s): Zena Padilla, 20-year-old, resident of Pomona

Raymond Rivera, 26-year-old, resident of West Covina

Summary

On Wednesday, August, 10, 2016 at approximately 5:35 a.m., Deputy Brenes from the Chino Hills Police/Sheriff’s Station observed a vehicle in the area of Peyton Drive and State 71 freeway in Chino Hills with expired registration tabs and an inoperable brake light. He conducted a traffic stop on the car and contacted the driver, Zena Padilla, who was found to be unlicensed. During an investigation, Brenes determined the car had been stolen and located burglary tools and drug paraphernalia in the passenger compartment of the car. 

  

Both occupants were arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools. Zena Padilla and Raymond Rivera were transported and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
