Crime or Incident: Residential Burglary and Grand Theft Auto
Location:15000 block of Aqueduct Lane, Chino Hills
Suspect(s):Jose Sandoval, 33 year old resident of Ontario
Christopher Ross, 22 year old resident for Montclair
Summary
On Monday, July 3, 2016, two suspects, later identified as Jose Sandoval, and Christopher Ross, entered the victim’s residence through an open garage door and took the victim’s purse which contained the keys to her silver 2011 Honda CRV which they also took.Chino Hills Deputies were called to investigate the crime and entered the vehicle as stolen. At approximately 2:00 p.m., officers with the Pomona Police Department stopped the stolen vehicle which was occupied by Sandoval and Ross.The suspects were found to be in possession of stolen property from the victim’s residence and were arrested.
This is a good example of the cooperation between two law enforcement agencies who work together to solve crimes and provide safety for citizens.
