Summary
On Saturday, June 25, 2016, Juan Nungaray, an 18 year old resident of Chino, and a 17 year old male juvenile, resident of Chino, engaged in a speed contest on Soquel Canyon Parkway near Pipeline Avenue in Chino Hills. Both vehicles reached speeds which nearly doubled the posted speed limit.The juvenile lost control of his vehicle which collided with several trees before coming to rest on a sidewalk on Soquel Canyon.The passenger in that vehicle suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision.Both vehicles were impounded and drivers arrested for participating in a speed contest.
