INCIDENT: Fraudulent Use of Credit Card

Summary
On Monday, July 18, 2016, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Deputy Cobbs from the Central Station responded to a call of fraudulent use of a credit card at a business in the 2200 block of Commerce Way.The business, contacted Sheriff’s dispatch after a male subject made a transaction over the phone with a stolen credit card for over $6,200 worth of merchandise.The business was given the name of Guadalupe Sedillo for the purchase. Several hours later, the business called when the male subject arrived at the location to pick up the merchandise. The subject was detained and positively identified as Guadalupe Sedillo. Sedillo was in possession of a fraudulent credit card bearing the numbers of a victim’s credit card from the State of Washington. The business and victim desired prosecution against Sedillo. Sedillo was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center.
