INCIDENT: STRONG ARMED ROBBERY

LOCATION:BEAR VALLEY RD/CYPRESS AVE, HESPERIA

SUSPECT(S): UNKNOWN BLACK MALE ADULT, POSSIBLY 5’10

Summary

On Monday, January 18, 2016, at approximately 8:35 p.m., deputies from the Hesperia Police Department were dispatched to a report of a strong armed robbery that occurred in the area of Cypress Ave and Bear Valley Rd.

 

The victim reported that he was walking in the area of Cypress Ave and Bear Valley Rd, when an unknown black male adult approached him from behind.The male reportedly had a handgun and robbed the victim of his personal belongings.The suspect then fled on foot eastbound on Bear Valley Rd. The victim, who was uninjured during the robbery, went into a nearby business to report the crime. Deputies from Victorville and Hesperia checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
