INCIDENT: PC 245, Assault with a Deadly Weapon

LOCATION: 7200 block of Elmwood Rd Highland

SUSPECT: Edward Rodriguez, age 30, a resident of Highland
Hispanic male, 5’07”, 170, brown hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo of “Verdugo” on neck

VICTIM: Confidential

Summary

On Monday, April 18, 2016 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Edward Rodriguez struck his unarmed girlfriend in the head with a concrete statue. She sustained a large laceration to her head as well as other visible injuries. Rodriguez left the home before Highland Deputies arrived. His whereabouts are unknown and deputies are asking the public to assist with any information regarding the whereabouts of Rodriguez.
