INCIDENT: PC 459C Commercial Burglary LOCATION: Food 4 Less 26529 E Highland Ave Highland SUSPECT(S): Unidentified white male adult. VICTIM(S): National Entertainment Network


On Monday, February 8, 2016, at approximately 2:55 p.m., a deputy from the Highland Police Department responded to the report of a burglary that had occurred at the Food 4 Less located at 26529 E. Highland Avenue in Highland. Upon arrival, the deputy was advised that an unidentifed male posing as a service technician entered the Food 4 Less store in Highland on Saturday, February 6th. The suspect briefly displayed an identification badge and told the staff he was there to service the vending machine. The male subject then left the location in a red sedan carrying a black tool box. An employee later notice that coin compartments of the vending machine had been pried apart and emptied of money.


Through investigation, deputies believe that the suspect has been involved in similar crimes in the cities of Rancho Cucamonga, Indio, and Ontario. The estimated damage and theft is approximately $8,000.00. The suspect is described as a white male approximately 40-50 years old, average height and build, wearing a baseball cap. The suspect was last seen driving a red older model sedan.
