 INCIDENT: Felony evading, vehicle theft, and possession of a stolen vehicle   LOCATION: Baseline Street and Sterling Avenue   SUSPECT(S): Ruben Reyes, 27 year old resident of San Bernardino Andre Drake, 27 year old resident of San Bernardino   VICTIM(S): Confidential


On Thursday, 01/14/2016, at about 9:40 am, deputies located an occupied stolen vehicle in the area of Baseline Street and Sterling Avenue. The driver, later identified as Ruben Reyes, refused to pull over. Reyes led deputies on a high-speed pursuit through the City of Highland at speeds in excess of 80 mph. Reyes also failed to stop for several stop signs and eventually collided with a light pole. Reyes ran from the vehicle and was taken into custody with the assistance of the Sheriff’s aviation helicopter and responding deputies.
