INCIDENT:CVC 20001; Hit and Run

LOCATION:7800 Block of Sterling Avenue

SUSPECT(S):Unknown suspect driving a green four door sedan. Extensive front end damage

Summary

On Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at approximately 10:50 p.m., a reporting party called to report a man down in the middle of the street.Upon arrival, deputies located a victim in the #2 lane of Sterling Avenue.The victim sustained major injuries due to being struck by a vehicle.The driver of the vehicle failed to stop to render aid to the victim and fled the area before deputies arrived on scene.Witnesses described the vehicle as a green four door sedan.Vehicle should have extensive front end damage.Victim was transported to the hospital, treated for numerous injuries and is expected to live.If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact the Highland Police Department.
