INCIDENT: Stolen vehicle LOCATION: Highland Ave. /Sterling Ave. City of San Bernardino SUSPECT(S): Veronica Ortiz, 38, Whittier Ronaldo Campana, 34, Montebello 

Summary

On February 9, 2016, at 4:20 p.m., deputies from the Highland Sheriff’s station began an area check for a stolen vehicle seen in the area. The vehicle was stolen from Whittier on February 8, 2016. The vehicle was eventually found in the Target parking lot located near Highland Avenue and Sterling Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, Veronica Ortiz, and a passenger, Ronaldo Campana, were arrested. A third person in the vehicle was released at the scene. Campana and Ortiz were booked at Central Detention Center for possession of a stolen vehicle and are being held on $50,000 bail.
