SUSPECT(S): Black male, 20’s to 30’s, average height, heavy build, wearing blue hoody and black pants carrying a small handgun
VICTIM(S): The Water Store
On Saturday, January 30, 2016, at approximately 9:26 a.m., deputies from the Highland Police Department responded to an armed robbery that occurred at the Water Store in Highland. Upon arrival, deputies were advised that a black adult male walked into the store and confronted the clerk. He pulled a gun from his pants and held it to the victim’s head and demanded money. The victim handed the suspect an undisclosed amount from the cash register. The suspect fled from the location on foot, possibly heading westbound. The clerk hid behind the counter until deputies arrived. The suspect is described as average height and overweight. He was wearing a bright blue hoody and black pants. The victim could not describe the gun, other than a small handgun.
Deputies are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the attached photo.
