INCIDENT: Vehicle Pursuit/ Felony Evading LOCATION: Alta Loma Road/ Alta Avenue, Joshua Tree SUSPECT(S): Cory Bryant, 33 year old resident of Joshua Tree
Summary
On Thursday, June 7, 2016, at approximately 4:05 a.m., deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle, driven by Cory Bryant, for excessive speed. Bryant led deputies on a vehicle pursuit for over four miles reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour on residential streets. At the end of the pursuit, Bryant ran from the vehicle, and was found hiding under a bed in a residence in the 61000 block of El Reposo Circle. Bryant was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for felony evading.
