INCIDENT: Unlawful Intercourse with Minor, Oral Copulation
LOCATION: 25000 block of Redlands Blvd., Loma Linda
SUSPECT: Daniel Bambo, 35 years of age, a residence of Hemet
VICTIM: Confidential female
Approximately two months ago, Bambo met the victim through a cellular dating application. Soon after, the two began using text messages to communicate daily and Bambo lied about his age. Over the past month, Bambo set up meetings with the victim in Mentone. Bambo met the victim near her residence, the two got into Bambo’s truck and on several different occasions while in the truck, Bambo persuaded the victim to have sexual intercourse and oral copulate him. On July 28, 2016 Bambo picked the victim up from the City of Loma Linda and drove them back to his residence in Hemet, where Bambo again had sexual intercourse with the victim. The victims parent in Loma Linda reported the victim as a run away juvenile. The victim was contacted and Bambo drove her back to the City of Loma Linda. At that time Bambo was contacted by deputies and taken into custody.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Bambo has a disc jockey (DJ) service and is under contract for a local high school in the City of Hemet. Bambo also performs his disc jockey service at various other events in and around the City of Hemet.
Bambo was booked at West Valley Detention Center and bail is set at $50,000. He is scheduled for arraignment on August 1, 2016 in Central Superior Court.
