DATE/TIME: March 26, 2016 / 1:05 pm INCIDENT:Penal Code 245(a)(1) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon LOCATION:51800 block of Panorama Drive, Morongo Valley SUSPECT(S):Bobbie Lowery, 33 years, Morongo Valley VICTIM(S): Female victim Male victim


On March 26, 2016, at approximately 1:05 pm, Deputies D. Tollefson and M. Murray responded to the 51800 block of Panorama Drive in Morongo Valley reference a physical disturbance between Bobbie Lowery and the female victim. Through investigation Deputy Tollefson learned that Lowery became angry and aggressive towards her, throwing her to the ground and then threw a rock at her, hitting her in the head, causing a contusion to the back of her head and other minor injuries. Lowery then got on top of her, as she was on the ground, picked up a larger rock and raised it up to hit her in the head with it. The male victim ran to the female victims aid and Lowery diverted his attention towards the male victim and Lowery hit him in the arms with the large rock causing puncture wounds and bleeding. Lowery then ran to his trailer on the property where Deputies Tollefson and Murray later located him and took him into custody without incident. Both victims declined medical aid at the scene.
