INCIDENT:PC 496- Possession of stolen property, Parole violation

LOCATION:58000 block Campanula St, Yucca Valley

SUSPECT: Christopher Morgan, 39 years old, resident of Yucca Valley

VICTIM(S): Numerous victims


On February 9, 2016 the Morongo Basin Station Major Enforcement Team (M.E.T.) and the Yucca Valley Detective C. Emon, conducted a follow up investigation at the 58000 block of Campanula St.Christopher Morgan had been identified as a possible suspect in possession of a recently stolen vehicle.A search was conducted at Morgan’s residence and numerous confirmed stolen items were located.Morgan was found to be in possession of property related to about six separate residential burglaries. Detectives were able to recover about $10,000 worth of stolen property to include a stolen Jeep. All property recovered was returned to the rightful owners. Morgan was arrested for a parole violation and being in possession of stolen property.He was booked in the Morongo Basin jail and is being held without bail.


Problem Oriented Policing is a specialized position within the Town of Yucca Valley’s Police Department. Deputy Sheriff Bruce Southworth is currently assigned to this full time position. The primary focus of “Problem Oriented Policing” is to provide solutions to law enforcement related issues that adversely affect the citizens who live, work and visit the Town of Yucca Valley.
