INCIDENT:Penal Code 594(A)(2), Vandalism

LOCATION:2700 Block of Canyon Road, 29 Palms

SUSPECT(S): Ryan Cooley / 21 Year Old Male / 29 Palms

Erick Ward / 19 Year Old Male / 29 Palms

Paul Minigh / 19 year Old Male / 29 Palms

VICTIM(S): Sherilyn Crabtree / 29 Palms

Summary

On Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at approximately 11:11 P.M, Sherilyn Crabtree called 911 to report two subjects banged on her door, dented her vehicle and slashed her vehicle tire. Crabtree advised responding deputies the suspects left in a dark Volkswagen. Crabtree recognized one of the suspects as a friend of her ex-boyfriend, Ryan Cooley.

 

Deputies located the suspect vehicle in the Himalaya Plaza parking lot and conducted a traffic stop. Deputies located, Ryan Cooley, Paul Minigh and Erick Ward inside the vehicle. During the initial investigation all three suspect denied being at Crabtree’s residence or doing any damage to her vehicle.Evidence at the crime scene led to all three suspects being arrested for felony vandalism. Cooley, Minigh and Ward were transported to the Morongo Basin Jail and booked for violation of Penal Code 594(A)(2). Minigh and Ward are being held in lieu of $25,000 bail. Cooley is out on $25,000 bail.
