SUSPECT(S): Robert Carranza, 22 years old from Topock, Arizona

Andrew Muehlhausen, 27 years old from Fort Mohave, Arizona

Rachel Reyes, 36 years old from Needles, California

Heather Jewell, 42 years old from Needles, California

 

VICTIM(S): Confidential from Yucca, Arizona

Summary

On Saturday, August 20, 2016 around 6:40 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies from the Colorado River Station in Needles conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of O Street and Barrackman Court, the vehicle was reported stolen from Topock, Arizona. The vehicle was occupied by four people and was driven by Andrew Muehlhausen. A high risk traffic stop was initiated and the occupants were detained.

 

Further investigation revealed a passenger, Robert Carranza, had taken the car without permission from the registered owner in Topock on Thursday, August 18, 2016.A search of the passengers and vehicle revealed Rachel Reyes and Heather Jewell had narcotic paraphernalia.

 

Robert Carranza was arrested for vehicle theft and booked at the Needles Jail, his bail was set at $50,000. Andrew Muehlhausen was arrested for possession of stolen property and booked at the Needles jail, his bail was set at $50,000.Both Rachel Reyes and Heather Jewell were arrested for possession of paraphernalia and were released at the scene.
