Incident:  Identity Theft

Location:  9589 Milliken Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga

Suspect(s):Ashley Mullins, 25 year old female from Norco; Leslie Baker, 47 year old female from Rancho Cucamonga; Crystal Ramirez, 36 year old female from Corona

Summary

On January 11th, 2016 at approximately 3:00 a.m., Deputy Kovensky of the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department contacted Ashley Mullins near the intersection of Milliken Ave and Fourth Street. During the contact, Kovensky learned Mullins was on felony probation for fraud. While searching Mullins’s purse Kovensky located several fraudulent credit cards. Kovensky questioned Mullins and found she was renting a room at the Holiday Inn Express.

 
Kovensky and several additional deputies conducted a probation search on Mullins’s hotel room. Leslie Baker and Crystal Ramirez were located in Mullin’s room; both were found to be on felony probation. A thorough search of the room revealed additional fraudulent credit cards, stolen ID cards, an embossing machine, credit card reader, stolen credit cards and laptop computer. Through investigation, Kovensky linked all three suspects to several identity theft crimes.

   
Mullins, Baker, and Ramirez were arrested for felony identity theft and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
